Job Description:
- Average number of scheduled vs. walk-in patients per shift: 14 scheduled, 6 same-day visits

Time between patients: No scheduled time between patients
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 am-5:15 pm + one Saturday/month 9:00 am-1:00 pm + On call
- On call: One weekend a month (the same weekend you work the Saturday shift), one day/week, one hospital round/week.
- Strong computer skills, prior EMR experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, hospital personnel, and community members
- Capable of performing treatment procedures for acute illnesses or injuries
- Able to remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergency situations
- Must complete CHC credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate
- Operates within a team of healthcare providers and support staff in a multi-specialty group practice
- Provides care for patients from newborn to age 18 in an office-based setting
- Offers diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, ensuring sound assessments and treatment plans
- Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
- Treats acute illnesses and injuries
- Prescribes medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides health advice
- Orders necessary tests, follow-up visits, and referrals to specialists as needed
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within pediatrics
- Relies on experience and judgment to meet goals, allowing for creativity and latitude
- Provides guidance to clinical and reception support staff
- Ensures accurate and complete medical documentation, following company policies, aiming for 80%+ E/M coding accuracy (goal: 95%)
- Proper HCC coding for eligibility for VBC bonuses
- Closes/signs off patient charts after reviewing, according to company policies
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Physical requirements include walking, bending, sitting, talking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and adjusting focus
- May require travel to healthcare practices
- Work environment: Low to moderate noise level

- Open to TRULY Board Eligible recent graduates within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification
- Not accepting providers who have lapsed Board Certifications and need to obtain it again

- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and with plans to test) or Board Certified in Pediatrics – REQUIRED
- NJ license in hand – REQUIRED (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- BLS (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice – REQUIRED
