Call Ratio: every other week
Number of Physicians in Practice:  2
Will There be Other Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage?  yes
How Many APPs Provide Coverage?  1
Average Number of Patients Per Day – OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office) : 25
Average Number of Patients Per Day – INPATIENT  (Call/Rounding) : variable 1 per week
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Office/Clinic, Hospital Based
Documentation System/EMR: meditech/ mosaiq
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:  60 days approx.
Provider Must be local – only mileage is reimbursed

 Required Procedures:  

• Conventional Radiotherapy
• 3D Radiotherapy
• 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT and SRS (No brachy needed)
• External Beam Radiation – 3D-CRT
• External Beam Radiation – IGRT
• External Beam Radiation – IMRT
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery
• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Required Duties: 

• Orders Tests
• Orders Images
• Prescribes

• Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
• Active MA License is required or pending (in process) – Required
• Needs active DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance license – Required
• Experience with following radiation techniques:  3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT and SRS (No brachy needed)
• Experience with following software is preferred but not required:  Pinnacle, Velocity, Mosaiq and Epic
• Will be asked to see both inpatient and outpatient consults, do treatment planning, see weekly on-treatment visits and follow up patients
• Will participate in weekly Tumor Boards
• Looking for someone with excellent communication skills who works well with patients and staff
• Looking for someone who documents accurately and promptly in the EMR
